Helping doctors provide the best possible care to their patients.
Our founder spent over 40 years working in the dental field working side by side with General Dentists and Specialists all over the USA and Europe. For the last 15 years, implant dentistry has been one of the fastest growing segments of dentistry. While doctors have shown their readiness to spend large sums of money on education, cone beams, intra-oral scanners, printers, and other type of pricy equipment, they often neglect to acquire basic tools which would simplify everyday implant dentistry procedures.
Unlike other companies that offer hundreds if not thousands of products, we operate as a curated boutique. In this form, we are best suited to target this small segment of simple, but important tools that every doctor should have in their practice.
It started with the VDO Gauge. Through conversations with hundreds of dental labs worldwide, we have found that breakage is a serious, but all-to-common issue when it comes to “All-on-X” type cases and full-mouth reconstruction in general. This is often due to poorly taken measurement of the VDO. We’ve seen various doctors’ methods, often involving some combination of tape, markers, and a ruler (though you’d be surprised how often it was simply guessed). These methods were inconsistent, but more importantly often inaccurate, which seemed odd, given how everything in dentistry is measured – often down to the micron.
Since then we have continued to slowly launch new products to meet the needs of our customers and help them in their goal of providing the best possible care to their patients.
For example, our right angle driver should be in every practice restoring implants. We actually do not understand how restorative Dentists restore implants without such a tool. It simplifies the process dramatically for the doctor, meanwhile improving the experience for their patients.
Another mystery is how most doctors only carry the screwdriver of the implant manufacturer they work with. What about patients with existing implants different from your implant of choice? Too many patients are rescheduled for this reason, which creates loss of chair time production, added frustration, and more importantly loss of patient confidence.
We hope that you will join our family of very happy doctors.
